COVID-19 | 9th June: An Updated Message from Kingston Smith Barlevi
Here at Kingston Smith Barlevi, we wanted to keep you up to date with the status of our business and people in this ever-changing climate.
As always, we first want to take a moment to reiterate our commitment to our clients. We have and will remain dedicated to you, and to all our people as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.
Over the past two months we have made modifications to our working practices to allow for seamless support of our clients. We are fully operational in a remote work environment and with the support of our IT team, continue to adopt new processes and tools that enable the Kingston Smith Barlevi team to excel.
As a leadership team, the Partners have put into practice many of the financial measures we’ve proposed to our clients to ensure the viability and strength of our business for the future. We remain confident in our ability to weather this storm alongside you, our clients, and look forward to the near future when the global climate is able to again thrive.
This brings to light the question of the future. We are all undoubtedly asking ourselves when things will go ‘back to normal.’ At Kingston Smith Barlevi, we will continue to observe local and federal recommendations to ensure the maximum safety of our staff and will keep you, our clients, updated on any changes we are making to our day-to-day operations. We look forward to the day where we can again meet with you over a cup of coffee, and with the tireless work of healthcare workers on the front line, and the observance of safety measures by the general public, we hope to schedule in-person meetings again soon.
In the meantime, we would like to acknowledge that the effects of this global pandemic should not be understated or diminished in any way. We recognize that businesses and individuals across the United States, Europe and the world, have suffered greatly and that getting ‘back to normal’ does not look the same for everyone. Just as it is a time to ensure the physical health and safety of our people, we feel it’s necessary to pay mind to the emotional toll that comes with the monumental change brought on by Coronavirus. As we offered on March 23 at the onset of the pandemic, we would like to again extend the offer to use Kingston Smith Barlevi as a sounding board for any concerns. We are all in this together and must support each other.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Partners or your usual contacts across the firm – we look forward to hearing from you and are available no matter how big or small your concerns are.
Stay safe and well,
The Partners, Kingston Smith Barlevi
