Employee’s Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace

In the US, the number of adults reporting symptoms of anxiety or depression has jumped by 30% during the Coronavirus pandemic. More than 4 in 10 American adults now self-report symptoms of mental health and wellbeing distress[1] and this should come as little surprise that this greatly affects all aspects of life, including job performance.

As the pandemic wears on, we advise that businesses again review their company strategies and HR policies to ensure that employees feel and are supported. This in turn most certainly can impact their overall health outcomes as well as effectiveness in the workplace.
